Care Instructions
When cleaning, stuffing shoes with paper/rags or a shoe tree helps 'open' materials up for better results.
- Protection spray is a great way to keep shoes looking box fresh.
- Midsoles can be cleaned with a midsole cleaner or warm soapy water. Darker midsoles may also be 'cleaned' with fine grit non-marking sand paper.
- Suede may transfer onto other clothing.
- Never machine wash or tumble dry shoes.
- Never dry in direct sunlight. See more details on shoes care.
Norman Walsh developed the Tornado in 1983 due to the demanding market of athletes competing in major marathons and races across the globe, most notably the 1983 London Marathon. The shoe featured an ultra-lightweight upper, grounded to the nip-tooth outsole with extra EVA cushioning in the midsole to combat the strenuous use and provide extra comfort.
Please note, this is the origin of the original product model and does not represent current functionality.
Developed in the early 1980's alongside the Invade, the Attack was a further development and successor to the earlier Cobra racing shoe. This shoe and its Invade counterpart were nicknamed by its users as the '1000 mile shoe' due to its lasting construction. The attack featured a shorter toe guard for flexibility and weight reduction
